About Caroline
After working for the BBC (Parkinson), London Weekend Television ( The South Bank Show) and Time-Life Books in the UK, Caroline Baum came to Australia in 1984.
She has worked as founding editor of Good Reading magazine, features editor for Vogue, presenter of ABC TV’s popular bookshow, Between the Lines, and Foxtel’s Talking Books, and as an executive producer with ABC Radio National.
She is a regular contributor to national newspapers and magazines and is in demand as a presenter at arts and literary festivals around the country and overseas.
In 2006 Caroline produced and co-wrote her first TV documentary In Search of Bony, about Australian writer Arthur Upfield, shown on SBS TV.
Caroline is currently developing a TV series and several writing projects as well as reviewing books, curating and hosting talks, blogging for arts organisations and providing media consultancy.
